All invoices are sent on a monthly basis, all our services are billable in 15-minute increments, and nearly all our projects are “time and materials” based so you only pay for the time we actually spend working on your project. Project estimates are provided before the start of each project and we strive to complete all projects within the initial estimate. If a project looks as if it may exceed the initial estimate, you are notified immediately of the cause and possible solutions. In cases where you request additional items that are out of scope, a Budgetary Change Order will be produced for client approval before continuing with the additional work.
Many custom software shops build you what you want. Sometimes, you've spent a lot of money on your software to have it built for you and then the software vendor turns around and says you can have the source code for an additional fee. That's not the way it is with AURORA. We will hand you the code and a copy of the database at the end of the project. That way, if you want to manage the maintenance portion of the software's life you can, or you can do it in-house if you'd like.
You reserve the right to stop development during any phase of development and are entitled to ownership of all materials pertaining to your project, provided your account is in good standing.
The systems and solutions developed by AURORA Consulting Group specifically and uniquely for the project become the property and ownership of the client. AURORA retains no ownership rights or interest in the unique deliverables from the project.
